Generate clean affiliate links for Amazon and any network

Paste a product URL, add your tracking ID, and get a clean affiliate link plus a ready-to-paste HTML snippet, with rel attributes handled for you.

HTML link snippet

One link, every country

The link above only points to one marketplace. A visitor from a different country may land on a store they cannot buy from, or on a page that drops your tag. A smart link reads each visitor's country and routes them to the matching storefront automatically, keeping your tracking ID attached the whole way.

Why not just paste the product URL?

A product page URL on its own carries no affiliate tag, so a click on it earns you nothing even if the visitor buys. Amazon product pages also carry a lot of extra path segments and query parameters (the product title, a session reference, a category breadcrumb) that have nothing to do with tracking and can make the link fragile to copy around.

This generator strips an Amazon URL down to the marketplace and the ASIN, then adds only the tag= parameter with your tracking ID. For other networks, it does the same job with whichever parameter name your program expects. The result is a shorter, cleaner link that still does the one job that matters: crediting the sale to you.

What goes into the HTML snippet?

The snippet is a standard anchor tag built from the link above, your chosen link text, and the toggles you set: target="_blank" to open in a new tab, rel="nofollow" and rel="sponsored" to mark it correctly for search engines. Special characters in your link text and URL are escaped automatically, so pasting the snippet into a CMS or HTML editor will not break the surrounding markup.

You can paste this snippet directly into a blog post, a video description that accepts HTML, or a page template. If your platform only accepts plain text, use the generated link on its own instead and add the rel attributes through your editor's link settings.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add my Amazon tag to a link?

Paste the product URL from the Amazon page you want to link to, pick the marketplace it belongs to, and enter your Associates tracking ID (the value that looks like yourtag-20). The generator pulls the ASIN out of the URL, rebuilds a clean product link on that marketplace, and appends your tag as the tag= parameter, replacing any tag that was already there.

What are rel=sponsored and nofollow?

Both are rel attributes you add to a link tag so search engines treat it correctly. rel=sponsored tells Google the link is a paid or affiliate placement, which is what Google asks publishers to use for affiliate links specifically. rel=nofollow is the older, more general signal that a link should not pass ranking credit. Using sponsored (with or without nofollow alongside it) keeps your affiliate links compliant without hiding them from readers.

Can I use this for non-Amazon networks?

Yes. Switch to the generic mode and enter the destination URL, the name of the affiliate parameter your network expects (for example aff_id or ref), and your affiliate ID as the value. You can also add optional UTM source, medium, and campaign tags for your own analytics. The tool builds the link and the matching HTML snippet the same way it does for Amazon.
